Can you please also bring Rutter Chorus Books to first rehearsal as we shall be rehearsing both for the 15th Anniversary Concert at Holy Trinity Church, Claygate on 13 Nov and also for Aida.

Hire Scores for Aida will be available from Diana Payne at the first rehearsal.


This event will take place on Sat 13 Nov at Holy Trinity Church, Claygate.

Paper copies of the flyer will also be available at the first rehearsal. It would be great to have a sell out at this 15th Anniversary Concert!

Having been so successful last year, we have been asked back again to boost the carol singing. I do hope many of you will be able to take part in this event as Burhill members are very supportive of Riverside Opera! The money raised during the golf day goes to the Captain’s Charity which this year is ‘Cherry Trees’.

Carols take place at approx 4.00pm.  If you are available please let me know.


We will be holding our Bridge Supper at Cobham Village hall on Friday 28 January.
Helpers from the chorus will be required for this event to help serve out the meal – they do get fed!!

Our main production of Aida will take place at Epsom Playhouse from Wed 23 – Sat 26 March. Principal auditions for the production will be held on Sat 18 September.

We are delighted that James Hurley has agreed to be our Director. Set/Lighting Designer will be Rob Mills.

As you can see we have another busy year!
